So... I can login to the game and get to the lobby selection, but once I select a lobby, it does not leave the welcome page. The lobby select window goes away, but I'm just left looking at the providence background until I exit out. Here's what I've tried before: - restarting my computer.
- reinstalling the new patch (and restarting).
- deleting the 4.001 and 4.002 patches from my folder (not completely, and I recovered them and replaced them back in the folder once i found this didn't help).

I got the same problem but i found the solution...
For those who using Windows Vista follow the step below
1.) Right click WE startup icon
2.) Click properties
3.) Click Compatibilities
4.) Tick the "Run this program as administration" at the privilage level
5.) Then try run the WE launcher
Any question resolving any issue's please post it on forum or send ticket to department.

I started having this problem again today, but I run Windows XP. What should I do?  EDIT: I got a hold of support and I guess it was my firewall blocking the lobby for some reason. It's never blocked this game before, but I guess there's a first time for everything.  _________________ Your Humble Providian,

...so, it turns out that if I take my texture quality down to medium before I enter a lobby, it will take me through. Then I can put it back on high once I'm in the lobby. Who knew? _________________ Your Humble Providian,
